Information, trust and support.
Simple information about Cezar, how your data is handled, the rules for using the service, and how to reach us.
Privacy & Data
Cezar is designed to use personal data only where it is needed to provide, personalize, secure and operate the service.
Who is responsible for your data
Cezar is a service operated by a business established in Sweden and is responsible for the processing of personal data through the service. For privacy questions or to exercise your data-protection rights, contact support@getcezar.com. Full business contact information is available on the Contact page.
Data we process
Depending on how you use Cezar, we may process: account information such as your email address, account identifier, display name and language; your Cezar Free or Cezar Premium status; your preferences, such as categories, markets, budget, currency and risk preference; your Like, Watch and Ignore choices; Daily Brief settings and delivery information; subscription identifiers and subscription status; technical information needed for authentication, security and operation of the service; information you provide when contacting Cezar; and billing and payment information processed through our payment provider when you subscribe to Cezar Premium. Cezar does not store your full payment card details.
How we use your data
We use personal data to create, authenticate and manage your account; provide Cezar Free and Cezar Premium; provide your Dashboard and opportunity access; personalize Premium results using your preferences and activity; provide and deliver the Premium Daily Brief; manage subscriptions and payments; respond to support and privacy requests; protect, maintain and troubleshoot the service; and meet applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Legal bases
Depending on the processing involved, Cezar relies on performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide the service or Premium subscription you request; legitimate interests, where necessary to operate, secure and maintain Cezar; legal obligations, where information must be processed or retained to meet applicable legal requirements; and consent, where applicable and specifically requested.
Personalization
With Cezar Premium, your preferences and your Like, Watch and Ignore activity are used to prioritize opportunities around your interests. These signals are associated with your account and are not displayed to other Cezar users. Personalization helps organize and prioritize opportunities for you. It does not make purchasing or investment decisions on your behalf.
Payments and subscriptions
Cezar uses Stripe to process Premium subscriptions and payments. Stripe may process information such as your email address, name, billing information, tax information and payment details when needed to process your subscription. Cezar stores the subscription information needed to recognize and manage your Premium access, but does not store your full payment card details. Commercial rules relating to pricing, cancellation and subscriptions are explained in Terms & Subscription.
Service providers
Cezar uses trusted service providers to operate the service, including Supabase for authentication and data infrastructure; Stripe for subscriptions and payments; Resend for Daily Brief email delivery; Vercel for hosting and delivery of the Cezar web application; and Loopia for domain, DNS and Cezar business email services. These providers may process personal data only where necessary to provide their respective services.
International data transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards required by applicable data-protection law are used.
Cookies and tracking
Cezar uses technical storage necessary for authentication, account sessions and service functionality, including remembering your selected language. Cezar currently does not use advertising trackers, advertising pixels or marketing cookies.
How long we keep data
Cezar keeps personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described on this page. Account-related data is generally kept while your account exists. Some information may need to be retained for longer where required for legal, accounting, tax, payment, fraud-prevention or dispute-related purposes. Service providers may also retain certain information where required by their own legal obligations.
Deleting your account
You can delete your Cezar account directly from the Account page. Deleting your account removes access to Cezar and deletes user-owned Cezar data associated with your account through the account-deletion process. General opportunity intelligence that is not your private account data may remain part of Cezar. Payment, accounting or other records may also be retained where Cezar or its service providers are legally required to keep them. If you cannot complete account deletion through the Account page, contact support@getcezar.com.
Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may have the right to access personal data held about you; correct inaccurate or incomplete data; request deletion of your data; request restriction of certain processing; object to certain processing; receive eligible personal data in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights depend on the circumstances and may be subject to legal exceptions. To exercise your rights, contact support@getcezar.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. In Sweden, the supervisory authority is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
Data security
Cezar uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data and restrict account information to authorized access. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but protection of user data is an important part of how Cezar is operated.
Changes to this notice
Cezar may update this Privacy & Data notice when the service, its providers or applicable legal requirements change. The current version will always be published on this page.
